I need a way to restrict the remote desktop sessions on Ubuntu Server. Any ideas how I can do that ? I did Google, but didn't find anything for Ubuntu. Thanks !

Shreyas, you don't mention what behavior you want to restrict, or what you mean by remote desktop sessions. Do you mean people logging in to the machine by SSH? Please elaborate! I'm -1'ing the question for being a bit unclear. – SpamapS Aug 1 '11 at 1:00

What are you using for your Temrinal Server in Ubuntu? I use Xrdp quite a bit on Ubuntu and CentOS boxes, and there is a sesman.ini file which has a MaxSessions= variable you can set. Here is more info from the manpage: http://linux.die.net/man/5/sesman.ini

If you are using another Terminal Server implementation, or have additional questions or problems please let me know.
