Are you able to complete an update? sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade – david6 May 20 '12 at 11:39
What other issues are you having, besides WiFi not working? – david6 May 20 '12 at 11:40
NO other issues are there. – Aarti Elly May 24 '12 at 12:41

Try to re-install the drivers by using:

sudo apt-get remove bcmwl-kernel-source
sudo apt-get install bcmwl-kernel-source

This may fix your problem.
