I've been using these headphones for quite a while, they were working last night and this morning. In the afternoon I tried using them and I could only sound from the right earphone. I opened up alsamixer and sound was balanced, when I unbalanced sound so left earphone was louder, I started hearing sound from left earphone as well. My problem is that I need to balance my sound so that both earphones give same sound, how do I do this, because if I change my sounds volume then I have to open up alsamixer and balance the sound again! Any solutions? Please let me know if you need me to post any logs.

Can you try another headphone just to rule out a defect in that? – izx May 20 '12 at 6:12
