i recently downloaded ubuntu 12.04 . my problem is yahoo and dailymotion like sites are not opening in my ubuntu edition and at the same time they are opening good in windows xp on the same machine , what would cause this problem,

i tried in the all browsers

( p.s : gmail and youtube , facebook are some of the working sites in ubuntu)

Pls help me

What error does the Web Page shows, or does it keep on loading. – tijybba May 17 '12 at 18:14
You may need to post the network interface configuration for windows and Ubuntu to help us help you with this. Simply using Ubuntu wouldn't make some sites not work, but if Ubuntu is for some reason not using the same network configuration then that could cause problems. – Jeff Welling May 17 '12 at 19:37
