Install Git: sudo apt-get install git

Make a directory for git: mkdir gitand cd git

Check out the repository:

git clone https://github.com/Bumblebee-Project/bumblebee-ui.git
cd bumblebee-ui
sudo ./INSTALL

Go to Startup Applications and add /usr/local/bin/bumblebee-indicator

Have you done it successfully? – belacqua May 24 '12 at 22:50

Yes I was able to install bumble bee successfully. However you must keep in mind that you have both Nvidia graphics card along with any integrated graphics card e.g Intel HD 4000 etc. Other wise it will mess up your existing drivers as well.

Here is a simple guide to Install it:

Similar Installation guide I followed was:

The question is about the GUI, github.com/Bumblebee-Project/bumblebee-ui. How to install Bumblebee is described in askubuntu.com/questions/36930/… – Lekensteyn May 9 '12 at 19:36
@aibk01: Thats not the answer I am looking for. As Lekensteyn said, its about the GUI based Bumblebee. Check out the video in the question. – Ubuntuser May 10 '12 at 0:38
