I installed Samba server configuration tool on Ubuntu 12.04

I have added a Samba Share Added the following users

nobody root Ubuntu user

I can ping my Ubuntu machine from another windows machine in my network using IP address but I can't ping Ubuntu machine using hostname

I can't see my Ubuntu machine on the network and so I can't add any printers to my Window machines

My printer is connected to Ubuntu and when I try it to install it on other windows machine I can't because windows can't find Ubuntu machine

What I'm missing?

Can you submit your /etc/samba/smb.conf file? How are you resolving host names on your network? – Chris May 8 '12 at 21:24
Please copy/paste your /etc/samba/smb.conf file into your question so that we can help you diagnose your problem. – Jeff Welling May 9 '12 at 0:39
I managed to connect to Ubuntu from PC by running IP address from Run \\192.168.1.22, the I can enter user name and password but why Ubuntu machine is not visible in my network as it was before when I was running the beta version? My SMB.config is here – Carlos May 9 '12 at 18:28
The system doesn't allow me to copy smb.confg. How can I do it? – Carlos May 9 '12 at 18:41
