Shortcut? You can directly download the 32bit image from the official website of Ubuntu. – wangdw May 6 '12 at 17:37

From wubiguide:

Double check on shortcut

To modify arguments, right-click Wubi.exe and select "Create Shortcut". Then right-click the shortcut, select Properties, and modify the Target line, for example: "C:\Documents and Settings\\Desktop\wubi.exe" --32bit

OR

Download 32bit ISO and place it in the same folder as Wubi.exe

I accidentally installed the 32-bit iso file(this file is supposed to be burned to a CD).

  1. Make a new folder on the desktop and put both wubi and the iso file in it as it says, place the iso file in the same folder as the wubi.exe.

  2. Click and drag and drop the iso file onto the wubi.exe icon and the installer will open up.

I am not sure which one of these worked but it did whether it was placing both in the same folder or placing the iso file on the wubi icon.

this one works easily.

Click and drag and drop the .iso file onto the wubi.exe icon and the installer will open up.

The .iso file is the cd version you can download from ubuntu.
