i´m using Ubuntu 11.10 alongside Windows 7 Ultimate i dont have many experience using Ubuntu so i dont know how to disable Grub

I think it is Grub 2.0

You do know that if you disable GRUB you will not be able to access Ubuntu or Windows (Assuming you did not install Ubuntu using Wubi). – Luis Alvarado♦ May 4 '12 at 3:34
