I am using Ubuntu dual-booting with Windows 7. When i play any video file I am logged off. How can I fix this?

What is the name of the application you use to watch the video? Also, to clarify, the screen goes black temporarily and then shows you the login screen after you open the video with the application? Or does the system restart and boot to the login screen after opening the file? – ayan4m1 Nov 14 '10 at 1:06
Does the problem occur on Ubuntu or on Windows? How long after the video starts playing does system log you out? – Mussnoon Nov 18 '10 at 13:15
