I don't know why this happens to some applications, but some launchers I added by drag and drop to the left bar are suddendly lost at next login. Did anybody watch this too and how can I solve it?

Do you mean the left-hand panel? I don't think it is possible to drag and drop to the dash. – fluteflute May 3 '12 at 18:58

Once you've dragged them there, have you Right clicked them to see if there is a pin to launcher option? – James May 3 '12 at 22:39
