this is the first time I'm asking a question, so hi! - So, I have a HP Pavilion dv6-6b14ev computer, running Ubuntu 12.04. Until 2 days ago I was able to connect to my wireless network, but after that it is always stuck in trying-to-load mode and at a 5 minute rate asking for my wifi password. I had at first installed my graphic card's driver manually way before wireless stopped working. I haven't done any major configuration since then. I have the wireless drivers downloaded so I'm thinking of installing them but this is probably not going to solve the problem. Any help please?

I don't think that installing drivers is going to fix it, but give it a try. It happened to me too, in 11.10, but I fixed it by switching the wifi key in the laptop on/off, and restarting the router might help – GTO69 May 2 '12 at 17:47
Thanks for the answer. Restarting the router probably not gonna fix it because I can connect from Windows and my Ubuntu netbook. Neither the on/off thing. Thanks anyway – dimitris May 2 '12 at 17:58
Have you tried deleting your connection from Network Settings and recreating it again? – GTO69 May 2 '12 at 18:06
