ive installed ubuntu 12.04 on my netbook, first time using linux. always been a windows guy. was wondering now that im here, what should i do first? whats the must have programs, settings, or tweaks i should be doing to make my new ubuntu netbook all it can be?

was also wondering, the graphics dont seem too crisp or sharp, this is how it seems thruout most of ubuntu, is there something i should do or is that just how ubuntu is?
