I want to try out the newest Ubuntu on my Macbook Pro without having to install it to Bootcamp, does anyone know if the newest Ubuntu works on VirtualBox? thanks!

It works for me, but this doesn't really sound like a full on question. Something like this might be better directed to chat. –  hbdgaf Apr 30 '12 at 22:13

Oh I never knew there was a Chat option. Sorry about that. –  Jordan Apr 30 '12 at 22:15

Yes, as I'm using my iMac for test it. So, I need to know this: how many RAM haves your Macbook?

4GB of RAM. I have a Late 2011 15" Model. –  Jordan Apr 30 '12 at 22:33

OK, then you can test Ubuntu with VirtualBox. Just make a VM with 1 GB of RAM or more. Last thing I need to know: do you know what's Guest Additions. –  espectalll123 May 1 '12 at 7:31
