I downloaded Ubuntu 12.04 LTS from the official website I created a LiveUSB under Linux with the ISO but when the computer boots the loading starts but never end and freezes.

I also tried to create the Live USB with Lili under Windows 7, same issue

I'm suprised i'm the only one with this problem, do you know where I am wrong ? Thanks !

Try http://en.opensuse.org/Live_USB_stick#Create_a_Live_USB_.28GUI.29 It helped to me. I think there should be official Live USB creator by Canonical. Because with Download Pen Drive Linux's USB Installer i had problem every damn time. With Ubuntu startup disk creator there is no problem... But when you are at Windows you should use that for OpenSUSE

Try formatting the USB in Windows and use UNetbootin to create a live USB.

I created two USB key with unetbootin (windows-575); ubuntu-12.04-desktop-i386 ubuntu-12.04-desktop-amd64 Here is my harware : Asrock A790GXH/128M AMD Phenom II X4 955 ATI Radeon HD 4870 DDR2 OCZ OCZ2G10662G 2048 Mo PC2-6400 (400 Mhz) (5.0-5-5-15) x2 None of them work, I freeze after the selection (Try Ubuntu without installing/Install Ubuntu) I'm going to try Ubuntu 11.10 and update from it. – Victor L. That error is sometimes caused by the USB drive. Some USB drives dont support live usb booting

I installed Ubuntu 11.10 on the same USB drive, it worked perfectly, I updated Ubuntu via net and i'm now under Ubuntu 12.04 LTS =) – Victor L. Apr 30 '12 at 15:30
so is your problem over?? – Ashu Apr 30 '12 at 18:17

I had a same problem. I used Live USB creator, Pen Drive Linux's USB installer and even UNetbootin but the pen drive still could not boot. Then I came up with LiveUSB Install, used it to burn the ISO file to my pen drive and it worked like a charm! Hope this might help.
