Can't Print to Networked Printer After Fresh Install of Ubuntu 12.04 - 64 Bit [closed]

Background:

I have a server running ClearOS, operating as my print server (among other services). Back when I was using Ubuntu 10.04, I was able to print to it fine. Fast forward, I've upgraded to Ubuntu 12.04 64 Bit via a fresh install, and now when I follow the wizard to setup an IPP printer, my documents won't print (though they work from other clients fine). Any ideas?

I have a similar problem I can't print from ubuntu 12.04 to a windows printer that is connected via Samba. This worked fine previously on ubuntu 11.10.

The thing I do not understand is that there is no "real" error message since it says for example "Send-Document successful-ok". Even the user authentication works fine.

(forget it, I saw later in your bug report that it also fails with x86 architecture)

Assuming that your Ubuntu 10.04 install was 32 bits flavor, your driver probably need some 32 bits library dependancy. The various Brother printers (HL-4070, HL-3040 and HL-4150) I used with Ubuntu had such a problem, CUPS would instantly report printed successfuly but the printer would'nt do anything.
