I have installed Ubuntu 12.04, with Empathy 3.4. I discovered that ability of linking contacts from different networks is missing from context menu. Is it bug or I need to install something?

I figured out the problem. It needs to be installed the gnome-contacts package. But linking is another way. When you select "Information" in the context menu is opened Gnome Contacts, and offering to link contacts with the same name, then in Empathy metacontact is creating

And if names are not too close, it does not offer linking. In this case how to force contact linking ? –  vaab Jun 2 '13 at 12:18
