I've installed everything in ubuntustudio-audio as a precaution, so I'm unsure of where next to proceed.

din is a digital synth. It's supposed to work with JACK, but it's not making any sounds, despite installing the whole of ubuntustudio-audio. Some help with troubleshooting this would be appreciated.

Puredata isn't making any noise either, but JACK still claims to be working. I think this is a problem with JACK not being able to output sound to the right places, though I'm not sure how to go about testing or fixing that.

You should be more specific. What is din? – enzotib Apr 14 '12 at 5:50
Your question is not clearly understandable! Please be more specific and clear about your problem so we can help you! – Ravi Apr 14 '12 at 5:54
apologies. dinisnoise.org has a very interesting synth that I'm trying to get to work, but am failing miserably. I can't get it to play any sort of sound, though everything that should be involved in that process appears to be working. – Mike Apr 14 '12 at 5:57
I've tried a few things, none of them worked, though I've confirmed that this is likely a problem with JACK, rather than any specific synth. – Mike Apr 14 '12 at 6:45
@Mike Do you still have this issue? – pl1nk Jun 12 '12 at 17:47
