You login and move whatever folder or document into the Ubuntu folder, synchronisation is automatic. –  Peter Apr 3 '12 at 11:16

First of all, install Ubuntu one in your machine. Once you did this, when you right-click in any folder, an option named "Ubuntu One" will appear. There you select "Synchronise this folder" and that folder will synchronise with ubuntu one, meaning that all it's contents will be upgraded to your personal storage.

Note that now this folder is synced, any changes in that folder in your local machine will affect the copy you have in your personal storage of ubuntu one, so be careful!
