What is the best IDE for C + GTK2 programming? I currently use gedit and try MonoDevelop.

the "Official" gnome IDE for C/GTK development is anjuta, though many like the alternatives

For GTK2 rapid development helpers you can look at Glade with GtkBuilder. „The Best” part is subjective. For C ... thinks are more complicated... but your favorite text editor should do.

I don't know if it's the best but CodeLite ( ) is a free Open Source IDE for C/C++ that is really really good :)
