OSD Lyrics has a very good way of displaying lyrics but its sources seem poor - compared to what I experience in Windows with Foobar and in Ubuntu with CoverGloobus. The latter uses a small non-adjustable font, so I would rather prefer to use OSD Lyrics, were it not for this problem. Many people recommend OSD Lyrics as the best way to display lyrics, but in fact it couldn't even find lyrics for some songs of The Beatles, for example, not to mention other less popular artists.

You can find lyrics for very non famous ASIAN bands, but I had the same problem with English bands. I checked where the pages where from, and apparently both are Chinese, hence the Japanese bands I listen to are all there but not English ones. Favorited it as I'm also really interested in finding English or other languages lyrics! –  Francisco Presencia Aug 20 '12 at 15:03

thanks a lot for your comment on a very lonely question. i should delete it and go forward with other programs - deadbeef with infobar is what i use lately. nonetheless osd lyrics should be taken over by some knowledgeable more internationally oriented geek –  cipricus Aug 20 '12 at 21:33

I had the same problem so I said it. Since I now understand English well enough I don't normally need it for this, thought I'd like it anyway. I'm learning Japanese so it's really useful for me. If I could accomplish both in the same program it would be awesome. Hope someone fixes this at some point since I don't have the required knowledge to do so. –  Francisco Presencia Aug 20 '12 at 22:01
