I have a problem with my Ubuntu 11.10 (up to date) running on laptop with the graphic card ATI Radeon x1200 with the (I think edgers driver since I updated it because of the lag I had) it shows some weird sketchy boxes over any text I open, It's confusing me and I don't know how to fix it.. Anyone can help?! enter image description here

Have you tried removing the ATI deriver and just use the generic one which is supplied with Ubuntu? – Icyos Mar 20 '12 at 10:15
I tried and it became really laggy I mean I could use the native driver but what's the point of the massive lag? I still have lag with edgers but it's not that much as before. – xHellghostx Mar 20 '12 at 16:04
