Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

When i try to connect to my wireless network it just keeps on trying to connect and after a while it says i need to enter the password again. I searched many questions already on this site. But could not find a solution :( I have Lubuntu installed and on Ubuntu it worked the first time right off the bat.

So can anyone help me?

Can you give the output of: sudo lshw -C network; lsb_release -a; uname -a; sudo rfkill list Thanks –  ActionParsnip Mar 24 '12 at 22:12

Lubuntu seems to require the administrative password prior to getting the opportunity to enter the wireless key...at least that's how it works in my case. –  user79656 Jul 27 '12 at 14:10

I had this problem as well. A reboot should solve the problem as well as a five-second shut-down of your router, then restart it.
