I'm new to ubuntu and I'm having a very hard time trying to install drivers for my netgear wireless usb adaptor wg111t. Can someone please post a quick tutorial on how to install these drivers?

if you're new to ubuntu and don't want to work with the command line I'd recommend installing 'ndisgtk' from the ubuntu software center. It is a program that is able to load windows drivers in ubuntu. Open the program (from the unity launcher just start typing 'ndiskwrapper' and it should show you the entry). Select 'install new driver' and choose the location of your cd drive. You need to find a file looking something like this 'netwg111.inf'. If there's seperate folders for xp, win7,vista I'd try the xp folder first.

Now plug in the stick and it should work
