I am having problems with installation with everything in the software center.

SystemError: E:I wasn't able to locate a file for the sun-java6-jre package. This might mean you need to manually fix this package.

Here is what I think you should do:

sudo apt-get --configure -a
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

I'm not sure but I think this might help...

I used

dpkg --remove --force-remove sun-java6-bin

The problem was caused by an incomplete installation of JDK6

For anyone having this problem, I recommend installing Synaptic Package Manager after fixing this to avoid any problems like this in the future.
