I've recently purchased one new "D-Link DWM 156 broadband USB". When I plugged it into my PC, my Oneiric doesn't respond anything.

What can I do?

I'm using HP Compaq Presario PC. Memory : 2GB. Processor: Intel® Pentium(R) Dual CPU E2220 @ 2.40GHz × 2. Graphics: Intel® G33 x86/MMX/SSE2.

I found a bug report that shows this Modem is supported in the usb-modeswitch-data Install usb-modeswitch-data package. Can you install that package and try again?

(I am not sure if you need to reboot or not)
