I have tried installing Ubuntu 11.10 64bit on my Dell 990 PC.

When the installation completes, I restart and try log in but the system is blocked with only the background showing and no taskbar。The keyboard does not respond, the mouse moves but the right button does not respond. It's so weird and I have spend two days with the situation, please help.
