I am receiving the following error on all additional software installations on my Ubuntu operation software:
gdebi-gtk
Could not open 'skype-ubuntu_2.2.0.35-1_i386.deb'
The package might be corrupted or you are not allowed to open the file. Check the permissions of the file.
Please advise me on how to correct this to enable me to install additional applications & software on my Ubuntu operation system.
