I'm wondering if someone come across a problem which I'm experiencing on my Ubuntu 11.04.

when trying to install a php extension I'm getting this error. I tried to downgrade php-common in the past but things got a bit messy and some modules stopped working.

Does anyone has an elegant solution / suggestions?

Thanks
