When you synchronize two computers, you get an identical copy on each. You can delete it, but if you do, then it will also be deleted from all your other computers and from the web. That's what synching means.

Edit: If you want the folder to be deleted from all your computers, delete it on a synced computer, just as you would delete any other file. The deletion will then be synchronized to Ubuntu One and to all your computers.

You seem to know how to delete it, but are not telling us - I would appreciate it, and I'm sure OP would too. –  VF1 Jul 19 '13 at 5:18

Did my edit help? Otherwise, please explain what the difficulty is. I don't really understand. –  Jo-Erlend Schinstad Jul 21 '13 at 5:31

Inside the deja-dup folder are my synced folders - comp1 and comp2, say. I would like to delete the comp1 everywhere. After syncing it with some computer, and deleting that entire folder from that computer's local deja-dup directory, comp1 still remains on my U1 account. Yes, individual files within that folder can be deleted locally (or even online w/ the Ubuntu One site), but I would like to completely remove that directory. –  VF1 Jul 21 '13 at 6:08
