There seems to be a big gap of nothing going on, and I think it increases if there is more network activity directed at the server.
The plymouth processes seem to be ending just as the final boot stage kicks back in, but I think this might just be the result of the underlying problem as plymouth only handles the boot GUI (right?).
Does anyone have any ideas of what it could be, based on the image and the fact that it relates to network activity?
