I am a newbie to Xubuntu (and Linux alltogether), i installed just yesterday (!). I wish to change the window borders colour in Xubuntu 11.10, but there seems to be no editing possabilities (pardon my spelling). I have sampled a jpg in Gimp and saved it.

Is there a way of doing this without opening a terminal?

The Window borders are defined by the Theme you're using, change the theme. – Uri Herrera Feb 5 '12 at 15:46
Hi and thank you for your answer. Window Themes in Xubunto have a limited colour spectra (always light blue). Maybe there are a additional themes out there? Greos – greos Feb 5 '12 at 16:03
Yes there are, you should look at xfce-look.org and deviantart for themes for xfwm4, alternatively you could Install Compiz and use Metacity themes that you can change with gnome-tweak-tool, although that will install Parts of Gnome 3 such as Nautilus and some other Stuff which you may not want. – Uri Herrera Feb 5 '12 at 16:06
Thank you. Yes i found xfce-look and there are some themes which have the right colour. Compiz and Metacity is just too much for me at the moment. greos – greos Feb 5 '12 at 16:24
