Putting my password in the GUI login interface doesn't login but all it does is looping through the login screen.

Running from command line:

$ ls -l /home

I get :

drws------  2 root    root    16834 2011-02-20 22:48  lost+found
drwsr-xr-x 52 natasha natasha  4096 2012-02-03 22:01  natasha

What does the above mean? Does anyone know?

I' d much appreciate any help.

Thank you.

You can try changing the password, by booting into recovery mode command:

passwd natasha
