I just installed mythbuntu 11.10 on a spare computer with a Hauppauge WinTV-HVR 1600 tuner card. Mythtv had no problem detecting and using the card initially, but after a round of mythbuntu/ubuntu updates from the update manager, it has since failed to find the device and anytime I attempt to build the drivers that linuxtv has for the HVR 1600, I get an
invalid kernel version at ./patches_for_kernel.pl line 30
Version .. not supported
This is on kernel 3.0.0-15-generic-pae
Anyone got any ideas what to do? Do I need to revert to an older kernel or perhaps reinstall mythbuntu?
