My Android phone doesn't mount on Lubuntu 15.10

Question

Issue:

I'm using Lubuntu 15.10 Wily i386 and unable to now mount my Android phone via MTP. When I first installed the system, I was able to just plug my phone into USB and access the phone's system files.

Steps Taken to troubleshoot:

I've installed the following without any real help:
sudo apt-get install jmtpfs gmtp libmtp libmtp-common mtp-tools libmtp-dev libmtp-runtime libmtp9 android-tools-adb mtpfs mtp-tools

Nothing I do has made this actually able to mount my Android phone. It used to work without a problem. This seems to be a bug. Can anyone give me some good information. I've allowed the sudo gksudo /etc/fuse.conf the allow non-root users uncommented, gksu gedit /etc/udev/rules.d/51-android.rules = added my vendor/id info as expected, and still nothing.

Same issue was came to me on ubuntu 15.10.I solved it by enabling usb debuging.Go to Settings>Developer Options> and enable USB Debugging.If that doesnot work try by restarting both of your devices.

Here is the final solution I figured out that worked:

Since nothing was correctly working, I'm not sure what was installed that conflicted with my MTP device not being recognized.

I've load a picture of the option I used from my Lubuntu 15.10 installation USB flash drive to fix the issue:

This option fixed the problem and all I had to do was reinstall what I didn't have working after the re-install of the OS which took a short amount of time. Most my apps where working without issue and desktop was as it was before untouched. I just uploaded this picture from my phone using Lubuntu without any options or tricks for this post! Thank you for those that helped me out with suggestions!
