I cant get my wifi card to work at all after upgrading to 11.10 Oneiric.

I'm not sure where to start to fix this. Ive tried using the additional drivers tool but this shows that no additional drivers are needed.

Before my upgrade I had a drivers working for the Rt2860 chipset.

Any help on this would be much appreciated....

thanks

Jon

if your wlan device ID turns out being "14e4:4311" after running sudo lspci -nnk -s 05:00.0 I think Rafael's command will get the same result, then try this command

sudo apt-get install linux-firmware-nonfree

First get a wired connection, install, remove wired connection and then reboot system.
