Upgrade to at least kernel version 3.14.1. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/MainlineBuilds for details.

  • I agree. I've upgraded the kernel as well as nvidia-* drivers, and I'm getting strange slowdowns in one certain program… GHC if anyone's curious—but everything else seems to be normal. Trying to figure out what's going on. <br> Downvoting my own answer. D: @bodhi.zazen Would you have a better suggestion?
