Brand new install of 11.10 64-bit Ubuntu. While getting my conky script up and running I kept seeing the error Conky: attempting to use more CPUs than you have!
and that was weird because Ive never seen that before with other distros on the same box which is definitely a dual-core CPU.
Doing some investigating it seems that Ubuntu is only recognizing 1 core on the CPU. I do have ACPI enabled in my BIOS. Im not sure if it matters but this is a guest VM installed in VirtualBox on a Windows7 64-bit host.
